After the birth of my first child, I couldn’t wait to unpack my hospital bag and try out the nursing tops. I had so thoughtfully purchased them in anticipation of this big day. But when I tried them on, I was disappointed to see they were too tight and did not fit my postpartum figure. In fact, it wasn’t until a couple months after my baby was born that I even started to feel comfortable in them. Needless to say, I was disappointed that my nursing tops didn’t take into account the full needs of my changing body.
And my challenge with nursing clothes continued as I began incorporating fitness and socializing back into my lifestyle. I found that I had to chose between clothes that were appropriate for walking, hiking and jogging and clothes that made nursing my little one easy. I knew then that there needed to be more options available to allow new moms to participate in fitness and wellness activities without sacrificing the convenience of a nursing top. So I enlisted other moms to share their thoughts and wish lists for an active nursing-wear line. And out of these ideas, Lottie Life was officially born!
Since starting Lottie Life, we’ve obsessed over creating nursing clothing that remove barriers for moms to do the things they love. We think through every detail of our garments, from the fabric to the closures, and continuously strive to improve. Our goal is to provide you with the best designs so that you can succeed in your nursing and total well-being goals, no matter what they are.
And we’d love to invite you to be a part of our journey. Please feel free to reach out to us with questions, feedback and ideas! We are always awake over here and looking forward to connecting!
Wishing you the best in your journey,
Lauren Pershing – Lottie Life Founder

What We’re Inspired By
“Above all, do not lose your desire to walk. Everyday, I walk myself into a state of well-being & walk away from every illness. I have walked myself into my best thoughts, and I know of no thought so burdensome that one cannot walk away from it. But by sitting still, & the more one sits still, the closer one comes to feeling ill. Thus if one just keeps on walking, everything will be all right.”Søren Kierkegaard
